As an artist, Harper Smith approaches situations with a clear and unique perspective. Her goal as a photographer is to create images that are beautiful, creative and illustrative. At the end of the day, she wants to tell your story through photography.

Harper Smith was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She began photography in high school and received a bachelor's degree in Photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in '05.

Her interest in life stories and social culture gears her daily work towards journalistic photography.

She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with her pug, Stewie.
